Special Projects:
2023 - “Starting Point” Project -
A special project, funded by the ministry of Culture and Mifal Hapais. The project supports playwrights, working on a new play. My play “A Play in Broken English” was chosen to receive funding and dramaturgical support. It’s a bilingual play, written in both English and Hebrew, examining the poetics of a broken language, misused by a speaker for whom English is only a second language. The play is based in part on my experience as a Hebrew teacher.
2020 - “Future of Theater” Project -
A special project initiated by the city of Tel-Aviv. I was chosen to be one of 16 young playwrights to receive funding and dramaturgical support from the 4 big repertory theaters of Tel - Aviv, in order to produce a new, original full length play.
